Each place has come up with a special land program and delights visitors with a varied entertainment program and the best catering from local kitchens and cellars. The program is crowned by the impressive fireworks and one of the longest ship parades in Europe.

Where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet, lies one of the most beautiful cities in Germany: Koblenz. The Deutsches Eck, the cable car across the Rhine and Ehrenbreitstein Fortress are known beyond the region and are meeting places for guests from all over the world.

The Koblenz supporting program will be held from August 11 to 13, 2023 for the three-day Koblenz Summer Festival.

Float over the Rhine with the Koblenz cable car.

Also visit the interactive experience exhibition ROMANTICUM in the Forum Confluentes.

Admission to the Koblenz Summer Festival is free.

Drinks will be served via deposit containers (deposit amount: € 5.00).

 

Notice for access to the Deutsches Eck

Due to construction and dismantling work for the Koblenz Summer Festival, limited opening hours apply for access to the Deutsches Eck from August 08 to 14. You can find more information here.

But also the celebration does not come too short! From the area at the Johanneskloster you not only have a unique view of the fireworks, but you experience up close with about 30 minutes the second largest fireworks of the evening! Be enchanted when the most beautiful section of the Rhine celebrates and the city shines in a unique light.

Rhenish-carnivalistic city tour with Karl Krämer (duration approx. 80-90 min. - meeting point at the Hexenturm
Rhenish carnival city tour followed by a small beer tasting in the Bistro zur Altstadt, tasting of 4 beers and a beer brandy, dinner together (grilled pork steak with side dishes of your choice) while live music until at least 9:00 pm.
A fun, varied, typically Rhenish and entertaining evening to get in the mood for Rhine in Flames in the cozy historical ambience of Lahnstein's old town in the shadow of the old town hall and the town fountain. Price 32.- € per person incl. the mentioned services.

In the Rhine facilities directly at the mouth of the Lahn, the starting signal is given for the 2nd 90s Open Air meets Rhine in Flames.

Party to airplanes in the belly or Mr. Vain. Whether Techno, House, Hip-Hop, R&B or Boygroup-Music - the hits of the 90s are present and DJ Brisby (Crew 7) heats on the Süwag energy stage, with the favorite hits of the decade properly. For once, the usually hidden tramp stamp can also be seen under the belly-free top.

The Rhine promenade, which consists mainly of half-timbered houses, is beautiful and offers a magnificent view of the Marksburg Castle opposite. Furthermore, the historic town center invites you to take an extended walk. At the end of the village in the direction of Boppard is the culturally and historically significant Peterskapelle with inviting outdoor facilities.

Musical morning pint on Boxelöfterplatz with the music band of the Spay Volunteer Fire Department. Coffee and cake as well as a bouncy castle are also on the program.

Enchanting, historic old town with half-timbered buildings such as the Old Town Hall surrounded by an almost completely preserved city wall. A prominent part of the city wall is the Scharfe Turm on the banks of the Rhine. It once served as a lookout and customs tower, later it was a prison and torture chamber. Symbol of German history is the legendary Königsstuhl.


Due to the ongoing construction site on the banks of the Rhine in Rhens, it will not be possible to hold a land program for Rhine in Flames 2023.

Braubach

Romantic half-timbered houses and blossoming Rhine gardens at the foot of Marksburg Castle, the only undestroyed hilltop castle on the Middle Rhine, form a unique backdrop for the fireworks spectacle.
You have a view of the fireworks in Spay and Braubach.

There are sufficient parking facilities for buses and cars. There are also parking spaces for mobile homes directly on the banks of the Rhine.
